“We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been – a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. Community means strength that joins our strength to do the work that needs to be done. Arms to hold us when we falter. A circle of healing. A circle of friends. Someplace where we can be free.”

The Grove of the Lion is a community that practices a syncretic form of Witchcraft. We incorporate many varying beliefs into a cohesive study of enlightenment. Our practices are based on Alchemy,  Astrology, Eastern Philosophy, Jungian Psychology, Kabbalah, Science, Shamanism, and Wicca.

This belief is expressed in the that the Divine and the Universe are one inseparable being we term as the All. The All is everything, and everything is the All.We approach the divine from a dualistic approach of the intellectual and the emotional understanding through the polarized archetypes of the Goddess and the God, the Lady and the Lord, Force and Form, or Matter and Energy. We also believe that Nature is a manifested representation of the All.  We are also practitioners of magick as defined by Abra-Melin the Mage, that is to say, the Science of the control of the Secret Forces of Nature.

We practice an inclusive path  where science and belief are harmonious guides and companions on the journey towards discovering the divine within ourselves, the world around us, and the gods . The study of the theory and science of magick are conducted in a supportive and educational environment .

Together we share in the festivals of The Wheel of the Year, conduct moon rituals, and generally dedicate ourselves to creating a better life for ourselves, our families, friends, and this astonishing planet that we have been blessed to care take of.

Blessed Be!
